Echo Ladies release music video for latest single “Coming Home”
Malmö, Sweden is buzzing with excitement as local shoegaze and dreampop sensation Echo Ladies drop their latest creation: the music video for their brand-new single “Coming Home”. This captivating track is making its way through the airwaves courtesy of Rama Lama Records/Grazehop Records.
“Coming Home” features a rich blend of distorted sound that rides along a powerful and energetic rhythm. The single serves as a teaser for their upcoming second album, Lillies, slated for release on 8 September. This single follows hot on the heels of their earlier releases “Awake” and “Fabrik,” both of which dropped earlier this year.
Sharing their thoughts on the inspiration behind “Coming Home”, the band said:
"We drew inspiration from two of our favourite bands, A Place To Bury Strangers and The Jesus & Mary Chain. Our goal was to create a wave of noise, feedback, and guitars that hit you like a burst of energy. We lost count of the layers of fuzzed and distorted guitars on this track, but let's just say it's a lot…"
Echo Ladies have always been masters at blending contrasting emotions in their music, and Lillies promises to be no different.
"While our past work carried feelings of nostalgia, hope, and worries about identity, Lillies balances the emotions of sorrow and loneliness with anger, frustration, and the determination to bring about positive change.
