Episode 64

Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was another banger of a show featuring the likes of Goings, Thank, and Happy Accidents as well as unsigned spotlight tracks from Six Ways To Saturday and The Campbell Apartment.

I opened the show with the absolutely brilliant “Sequence 03” by M.A.G.S. “Sequence 03” comes from M.A.G.S. latest album Creator which sees M.A.G.S. rework songs from their Destroyer album. Following “Sequence 03” by M.A.G.S., the first half of the show showcased tunes from Circus Trees, Sløtface, itoldyouiwouldeatyou, and our first unsigned spotlight track the brilliant pop punk ripper “FALLING OVER YOU” by Six Ways To Saturday. Before the news break, I wrapped up the first half with the absolutely brilliant  “Thier Shinning Path” band new single from Johnny Foreigner. “Their Shinning Path” comes from JoFo’s forthcoming new album How To Be Hopeful.

Post-news break, I resumed with the brilliant “Raleigh” by Lakes. “Raleigh” comes from Lakes’ brilliant brand new EP The Stitches and also features Henry Tremain of TTNG playing the BROOM. After “Raleigh” by Lakes the second half of the show packed the punches with tracks from Meryl Streek, Orchards, BEX and our second unsigned spotlight the awesome “Sand and Glue” by The Campbell Apartment. Wrapping up this week's show was “any means” by Balance and Composure. “any means” comes from Balance and Composure's forthcoming new album With You In Spririt that comes out early next month.
