Episode 63

Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was another banger of a show featuring the likes of Winona Fighter, Filth Is Eternal, and Helly Mary as well as unsigned spotlight tracks from Empathy and Jack Adamant.

I opened the show with the absolutely brilliant “Straight To Heart” by sister duo ALT BLK ERA. “Straight To Heart” is the second single from ALT BLK ERA’s debut album Rave Immortal which comes out early next year. Following “Straight To Heart” by ALT BLK ERA, the first half of the show showcased tunes from Sweet Pill, Sincere Engineer, The Wonder Years, and our first unsigned spotlight track the brilliant “Jeffery” by Empathy. Before the news break, I wrapped up the first half with the absolutely brilliant “The Hit” by Dread FM. “The Hit” comes from Dread FM’s debut album Who Killed The Vibe?

Post-news break, I resumed with the brilliant “Moscow is Silent” by itoldyouiwouldeatyou. “Moscow is Silent” is the band's first new music since 2019 and gives us an epic taste of what they are up to next. After “Moscow is Silent” by itoldyouiwouldeatyou the second half of the show packed the punches with tracks from Soot Sprite x Muttering, Sex Germs, Orchards and our second unsigned spotlight the awesome “Pixels In The Dark” by Jack Adamant.
