Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was another banger of a show featuring the likes of Circus Trees, Goings, and Beetlebug as well as unsigned spotlight tracks from Still Bones and Piney Gir.

I kicked off the show ith M.A.G.S.'s brilliant cover of American Football’s “I’ll See You When We're Both Not So Emotional”. M.AG.S.’s cover of the song can be found on the American Football LP1 Covers record that came out this week to mark the band’s debut album's 25th anniversary. After M.A.G.S.’s ruddy awesome take of “I’ll See You When We're Both Not So Emotional”, the first half of the show showcased tunes from Sweet Pill, Epsom Salts, Winona Fighter, and our first unsigned spotlight track the brilliant “Little Luck” by Still Bones. Before the news break, I wrapped up the first half with the brilliant new version of “Cities Under Water” by Short Fictions who we had the pleasure of interviewing recently.

Post-news break, I resumed with Beauty Sleep’s banging “Bigger Shoutier” remix of our mates Problem Patterns “Big Shouty”. The “Bigger Shoutier” remix can be found on Problem Patterns brilliant Blouse Clubland dance remix album that will be with us next week. After Beauty Sleep’s banging “Bigger Shoutier” remix of our mates Problem Patterns “Big Shouty”, the second half of the show packed the punches with tracks from Fightmilk, Defences, incaseyouleave, and our second unsigned spotlight the awesome “Show Me The Lightning” by Piney Gir.
