Episode 77

Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was another banger of a show featuring the likes of Other Half, Problem Patterns, and zzzahara as well as unsigned spotlight tracks from el SIREN and brusic.

I kicked off the show with “Peroxide” by Sonic Crush. “Peroxide” can be found on the brilliant Small Presents Vol. 4 album which came out earlier this year. After “Peroxide” by Sonic Crush, the first half of the show showcased tunes from Diva Bleach, Lakes, Sincere Engineer, and our first unsigned spotlight track the brilliant “Too Many Vampires” by el SIREN. “Too Many Vampires” comes from the Nashville band’s album Love & Entropy. Before the news break, I wrapped up the first half with the brilliant and moving “We Don’t Speak Anymore” by Bears In Trees. Post-news break, I resumed with “Pay The Reaper” by False Reality. The London-based hardcore quartet just recently announced their signing to Hassle Records. After “Pay The Reaper” by False Reality, the second half of the show packed the punches with tracks from Coheed & Cambria, Kaonashi, Bighead Tea Drinkersh, and our second unsigned spotlight the awesome “Roll The Dice” by brusic. “Roll The Dice” can be found on the band’s EP No.2. I wrapped up last night’s episode with the brilliant “Thorns In My Mouth” by Glasshouse Red Spider Mite. “Thorns In My Mouth” is Glasshouse Red Spider Mite's first single on their new label Secret Friends.
