Blush release first single, “All I Wanna Do”, and video

A new track we’re particularly excited about comes from Singapore-based Blush and the first single off their upcoming album and its music video, “All I Wanna Do”. The track is a humble attempt at handmade sweetness with amateurishness akin to their favourite indiepop bands (Belle and Sebastian, Rocketship, to name a few). Boy-girl vocals in unison, they sing dispassionately of a fickle yet devoted romance, where disconnection helps temper fiery union.

Hailing from Singapore, Blush made their live debut in November 2021 at Singapore’s largest alternative music festival, Baybeats, and have been active in the local music scene since.

“All I Wanna Do” is the first single of an upcoming album that sees its debut later this year via No Sleep Records. The band will be touring Tokyo in June 2023, headlining a show with To’morrow Records.
