NEW RELEASE: Justin Mark Richards releases new EP, “Wildfire”

Justin Mark Richards (of Brighten) has released a new solo EP, Wildfire. As long-time Brighten and Justin Richards fans, we’re elated to finally have our hands and ears on this much anticipated new music.

Wildfire features the tantalising, western guitar twang and instrumental ambience that Richards has been experimenting with and perfecting these last ten years, both in his solo work and with the full Brighten outfit. The 6 track EP even features a ballad version of “Getting Old” originally released on Brighten’s 2017 self-titled album.

But it’s the EP’s opener and title track that really hits us in the feels. If you’re looking for a song thats longingly romantic and reassuringly centering, this is it.
