Common Sage release new single

Brooklyn-based post-hardcore/emo band Common Sage have released their latest single, "Hiraeth" No Sleep Records. The song features Jason Gleason, known for his work as the frontman for Further Seems Forever.

"Hiraeth" is a song that delves deep into the theme of loss, exploring the complex emotions tied to nostalgia and how memories can evolve into a blend of fact and fiction over time.

Frontmant Julian Rosen also expresses his gratitude for the collaboration with Gleason, saying:

“Jason is an absolute sweetheart, and I can't thank him enough for doing this with us.”

Gleason himself is excited about the collaboration, saying:

“Having the chance to really vibe with Julian, and then after hearing the demos and getting a taste for the vision of the tune I was totally hooked on this song. I’m honored to have been asked, this band rips! I’m really looking forward to these upcoming shows as well and to seeing how the song will come to life when I get the pleasure of joining them live!”

"Hiraeth" marks a significant milestone for Common Sage as it represents their first release since 2021’s It Lives and It Breathes. This song is the first to be released from the band’s sessions with Brett Romnes which showcase a remarkable growth both in terms of songwriting and production.

Common Sage will be hitting the road with Further Seems Forever later this month and will be touring down to Fest with Ogbert The Nerd in October.
