Filth is Eternal release new single “Cherish” and announce UK Headline tour
Seattle punks Filth is Eternal have released their powerful new single “Cherish”, ahead of their sublime new album Find Out released 29 September via MNRK Heavy.
The band has already released two singles from the album, "Pressure Me" and "Crawl Space," which have been praised by critics for their heavy riffs, catchy hooks, and Lis Di Angelo's soaring vocals. The vivid video for “Cherish” was directed by Di Angelo themselves.
Speaking of “Cherish” Di Angelo said:
“Cherish implores listeners to believe in themselves and their creativity. wanted to mash two of my favourite things together, Black Box Theater and Lynchian Style, and marry that with something I overheard a stranger say that has occupied space in the back of my mind for years: 'This is all a dream, and you will spend the entirety of your existence at the centre of a push-pull event, somewhere between owning this dream and this dream owning you.”
Filth is Eternal is a unique band in the hardcore scene. Their sound is a blend of death metal, crust punk, and grunge, and they're not afraid to experiment with different genres. This is evident on Find Out, which features everything from fast and furious metalcore tracks to slower, more melodic songs.
Alongside the release of "Cherish," the band announced a UK headline tour in addition to their existing UK dates with the legendary Finch. The tour will stop at cities like Glasgow, Bristol, and Norwich.
