The Callous Daoboys release new single and video "Pushing the Pink Envelope"
Atlanta six-piece The Callous Daoboys, have released a new single and video for their song "Pushing the Pink Envelope." The song is taken from the band's upcoming EP, God Smiles Upon The Callous Daoboys, which is due out on 20 October via MNRK Heavy and Modern Static Records.
"Pushing the Pink Envelope" is a chaotic and energetic track that showcases the band's unique sound, which blends elements of mathcore, nu-metal, and jazz. The song features odd time signatures, rave-worthy synths, and frontman Carson Pace's distinctive high-pitched vocals.
The video for "Pushing the Pink Envelope" is a sequel to the band's previous video for the song "Waco Jesus." The video follows the band on their ‘Phantom Phinders’ journey to locate the ‘suburban spectre’.
The Callous Daoboys have been praised for their innovative and unconventional songwriting, and their ability to transcend genre limitations. Their upcoming EP, God Smiles Upon The Callous Daoboys, is sure to be one of the most exciting releases of the year.
The band will be joining Protest the Hero and Moon Tooth on a North American tour this fall, and will head to Europe with TesseracT and Unprocessed in January 2024.
