Episode 21
Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was a wild journey through the world of alternative music. We had an incredible lineup of bands and artists that kept the energy high and the volume even higher.
I kicked off the show with a bang, diving right into the alt-scene with "Changing" by SUDS. This band is one of my discoveries of the year, and their debut album The Great Overgrowth is one of my favorites.
Other highlights from the first hour included "Pythons" by ME REX, "I Don't Hate You" by Slow Joy, "Red, White, & Blue" by Proper., "Boys In The Band" by Lambrini Girls, "Who Do We Not Save" by Problem Patterns, "Who The Hell Am I" by NOBRO, "Code Orange" by Sincere Engineer, "Too Late To Hide" by Get Wrong, "Dancer" by IDLES, and "Unknown" by Tijuana Bibles.
I also played a few bangers from some of my favourite alt-scene bands, including "Power Game" by Lake Malice, "Lay down your flowers" by VEXED, "Chained Into My Brain" by BEX, "He's A Man" by Bob Vylan, "Talkin On The Internet" by Spitiual Cramp, and "Cherish" by Filth Is Eternal. To close out the first hour, I played "Hi, Hello" by Other Half, the UK's premier noise makers.
I kicked off the second hour of the show with a bang, diving right into the alt-scene with "Look Alive (Netic)" by Oxymorrons. I'm a big fan of this band, and I'm excited to share their music with my listeners.

I closed out the hour with the brilliant "Hey, Useless" by Quitter. This banger is one of my favourite tracks from their album Monument Road.
During the show, I feature our two unsigned spotlight acts Living Body and Streamy. In the first hour, I played Leeds-based collective Living Body’s banger “NO DEBT” while in the second hour, it was Italian punks Streamy’s turn with “Area 51 (Dosen’t Exist)”.
