Episode 22

Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was a wild journey through the world of alternative music. We had an incredible lineup of bands and artists that kept the energy high and the volume even higher.

Last night on the show, I kicked off the first hour with the brilliant debut single from Felicette, "Go to Hell." I followed that up with Dormant by Exit Child and Unknown by Tijuana Bibles.

I then played King Size Slim by UNIVERSITY and Hi, Hello by Other Half. I also played Too Late To Hide by Get Wrong, Dancer by IDLES, and Tamagotchi by Kid Kapichi.

The first unsigned artist spotlight of the night was NailGun by The Grassman. I also played He's A Man by Bob Vylan, Cherish by Filth Is Eternal, and Red, White, & Blue by Proper.

I then played a pair of tracks that I'm absolutely in love with right now: I Don't Hate You by Slow Joy and Code Orange by Sincere Engineer.

The final three tracks of the hour were Changing by SUDS, Pythons by ME REX, and NO DEBT by Living Body. I closed out the hour with the mesmerising Idaho Alien by Youth Lagoon.

On the second hour of The Scene, I kicked things off with "Fancy Word For Addiction" by prom, followed by "Who Do We Not Save" by Problem Patterns and "Hit The Ground Running" by The Young Hearts.

I then played "Candles" by Magnolia Park and "Who The Hell Am I" by NOBRO.

Next up, I played "Boys In The Band" by Lambrini Girls, "Detritus Andronicus" by Chemtrails, and "Chained Into My Brain" by BEX.

For the second unsigned spotlight of the night, I played "In My Lie" by Jack Adamant.

I then turned everything up to 11 with "Look Alive (Netic)" by Oxymorrons, "Sush" by Kite Thief, and "Long Way" by Lonely The Brave.

After that, I kept the party going with "About Love" by Dead Pony and "Body Bag (ft. Mimi Barks)" by Saint Agnes.

I then turned the party into a complete moshfest with "Chemical Lobotomy" by Future Static, "Power Game" by Lake Malice, and "Lay down your flowers (feat. Lochie Keogh of Alpha Wolf)" by VEXED.

For the final song of the week, I closed out the show with "In 2073 (Plenty Of Other Fish In The Sea)" by Belgian art rockers The Guru Guru.

Thanks to everyone who tuned in to the second hour of The Scene last night! I'll be back next week with more great alt-scene music.
