Episode 23

Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was a wild journey through the world of alternative music. We had an incredible lineup of bands and artists that kept the energy high and the volume even higher.

Last night on the first hour of The Scene, I kicked things off with "April Fool" by Currls, followed by "Potential" by Proper. and "He's A Man" by Bob Vylan.

I then played a trio of DIY punk bands with "Midnight Visitors" by Other Half, "King Size Slim" by UNIVERSITY, and "Relaxer" by Occupants.

Next, I played a pair of beautiful emo-tinged tracks with "I Don't Hate You" by Slow Joy and "Hard For Me" by SUDS.

For the first of this week's unsigned artists spotlights, I played "Exist" by Terminals.

I then played a trio of bangers with "Go To Hell" by Feliceter, "No Debt" by Living Body, and "Giant Giant Giant" by ME REX.

Next up, I played "Uncertain" by PAWS and "worlds greatest emoter" by bar italia.

I then calmed things down with a pair of more atmospheric tunes with "After Midnight" by Richard Walters and "Prizefighter" by Youth Lagoon.

Finally, I closed out the hour with "Evangeline" by Siblings.

On the second hour of The Scene, I opened with "Cancer Culture" by Post Profit, followed by "Pressure Me" by Filth is Eternal and "Lay down your flowers (feat. Lochie Keogh of Alpha Wolf)" by VEXED.

Next, I played "Filthy" by BEX and "Body Bag Feat Mimi Barks" by Saint Agnes.

Then, I kept things punk with "Separation Anxiety" by Pet Needs, "Hit The Ground Running" by The Young Hearts, and "Long Way" by Lonely The Brave.

For the second unsigned spotlight of the night, I played "Lost Ones" by The Transits.

After that, I turned things up to 11 with "Who Else Is In The Room" by The Throwaway Scene, "Chemical Lobotomy" by Future Static, and "Sush" by Kite Thief.

I kept the mosh pit going with "Power Game" by Lake Malice and "BODY//TEMPLE" by HOLY WARS.

I then played the 90s-tinged "Dormant" by Exit Child and "Detritus Andronicus" by Chemtrails.

Finally, I closed out the show with the hauntingly atmospheric "Ultraviolet" by Spiritbox.
