Episode 25
Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was a musical rollercoaster, a wild ride through the world of alternative music. We had an incredible lineup of bands and artists that kept the energy high and the volume even higher.
We kicked off the show with a bang, diving right into the vibrant world of the alt-scene with "Body Politics" by The Menstrual Cramps, followed by "Shadow (I'm Breaking Down)" by Destory Boys and "A Touch of Hell" by Sincere Engineer.
Next, I played "April Fool" by Currls and "Sinead Loves Bitcoin" by Loose Articles.
I then kept the energy high with "Boys In The Band" by Lambrini Girls, "Good Guy" by Dream Nails, and "TERFs Out" by Problem Patterns.
For our first unsigned spotlight of the night, I played "Predator" by Chelsea Manor.
After that, I got the circle pit going with "Crawl Space" by Filth is Eternal, "So Funny" by Karen Dio, and "Trust No One" by BEX.
I kept the punk vibes going with "Where My Girls At" by NOBRO, "Do It Another Day" by CHERYM, and "home" by Pinkshift.
I took things down a notch with "Voice In Your Head" by Shit Present, "That's Physics, Baby" by Pool Kids, and "Atom" by The Sonder Bombs.
I closed the hour with the brilliant new single "Famous" from Gen and the Degenerates.
In the second hour of The Scene, I kicked things off with "Infinity Worm" by ME REX, followed by "Changing" by SUDS and "Rest" by Slow Joy.
Next, I played "Lemonade" by Black Honey, "Go to Hell" by Felicette, and "Bathroom Floor" by KC Rae.
After that, I got things noisy with "HELLO KITTY PEZ DISPENSER" by Sunny Side Down and "Hell Of A Day" by Noah and the Loners.
For our second unsigned spotlight of the night, I played "Tables Turn" by The Easy Peelers.
I then got punky with "King Size Slim" by UNIVERSITY, "Midnight Visitors" by Other Half, and "Red, White, & Blue" by Proper.
Next, I played "Life I'm Living In" by Just Friends and "Antidote" by Greywind.
I slowed things down with "The Line Pt. II" by Haunt the Woods, "Wall Of Eyes" by The Smile, and "Idaho Alien" by Youth Lagoon.
Finally, I closed out the show with the brilliant "Too Late To Hide" by Get Wrong.
