Episode 47

Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was another banger of a show featuring the likes of incaseyouleave, adults and Coughin' Vicars as well as unsigned spotlight tracks from Saint Vienna and Splinter.

I opened the show with a complete and utter hardcore banger “Straight With Me” by Tether. “Straight With Me” comes from Tether’s forthcoming EP Mirror Work which drops next month. Following “Straight With Me”, the first half of the show showcased tunes from nathy sg, Supermilk, ME REX, and our first unsigned spotlight track, “Lonely Ghost” by Saint Vienna. You can catch Saint Vienna playing a headline show on the 9 August at the Stereo Cafe in Glasgow. Before the news break, I wrapped up the first half with “Salvation” by Fast Blood. “Salvation” can be found on Fast Blood’s new album Sunny Blunts which came out on Friday.

Post-news break, I resumed with the brilliant “Silent Disco” by Blvck Hippie. “Silent Disco” comes from Blvck Hippie’s new album The Basketball Camp which drops next month. After "Silent Disco" the second half of the show packed the punches with tracks from WALWIN, Kid Bookie, The Menstrual Cramps, and our second unsigned spotlight track, “Weapon X” by Indian thrashers SPLINTER. Wrapping up this week's show was “Everything That I Write” by Mammoth Penguins. “Everything That I Write” comes from Mammoth Penguins new album Here which dropped on Friday.
