Episode 53

Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was another banger of a show featuring the likes of The Story So Far, incaseyouelave and Youth Lagoon as well as unsigned spotlight tracks from Nat Dempsey and Pyrofox.

I opened the show with the brand new single “New West Order” by FEVER 333. The band just announced a bunch of UK dates at the end of the year. Following “New West Order”, the first half of the show showcased tunes from Los Campesinos!, ME REX, MILLY and our first unsigned spotlight track brilliant new banger “Everday People” by Nat Dempsey. Before the news break, I wrapped up the first half with the absolutely brilliant anti-anthem “Summer All Over Again” by Chastity.

Post-news break, I resumed with “Pastoral Existence” by Other Half. Other Half just dropped their new album Dark Ageism on Friday. After "Pastoral Existence" the second half of the show packed the punches with tracks from The Menstrual Cramps, Winona Fighter, Fast Blood, and our second unsigned spotlight track, “Colourblind” by Pyrofox. Wrapping up this week's show was a banging slice of post-punk “God Hold You” by Famous. Famous will be dropping their debut album Party Album on the 11th of October.
