Episode 54: Outbreak Festival Speical

Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was another banger of a show featuring the likes of Sweet Pill, incaseyouelave and Johnny Foreginer as well as unsigned spotlight tracks from Zeny Bux and Clean Shirt.

As it was Outbreak Festival this weekend I dedicated the first half to artists playing the festival opening “Stickers of Brian” by HOT MULLIGAN. I kept the Outbreak Fest tunes coming with bangers from The Hotelier, Angel Du$t, The World is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die with a brief rest bite for our first unsigned spotlight track brilliant new banger “Flame” by Zeny Bux. You can catch Zeny opening of Ellipis at Retro Bar in Manchester on the 19th of July. Before the news break, as American Football closed out Outbreak Fest with and LP1 25th anniversary set, I wrapped up the first half with the absolutely brilliant “Never Meant” by American Football.

Post-news break it was back to business as usual as I resumed with “I Went Swimming” by Soot Sprite. “I Went Swimming” is going to feature on a forthcoming 7-inch from the band. After "I Went Swimming" the second half of the show packed the punches with tracks from The Menstrual Cramps, Carly Cosgrove, PEOPLEVIOLENCE, and our second unsigned spotlight track, “SWAYING” by Swaying by Clean Shirt.
