Episode 57

Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was another banger of a show featuring the likes of incaseyouleave, Drug Church, and Sleep Theory as well as unsigned spotlight tracks from ROSEHILL and BROKEN JAW

I opened the show with a complete headbanger “Perish” by Defences. Defences just announced that they will be dropping their new album Shadowlight on the 8th November. Following “Perish” by Defences, the first half of the show showcased tunes from Lakes, Problem Patterns, Happy Accidents, and our first unsigned spotlight track the brilliant “Culture Shift” by ROSEHILL if you want to keep up to date with ROSEHILL follow them on their Instagram page @rosehilluk. Before the news break, I wrapped up the first half with “Long Throes” by Los Campesinos! “Long Throes” comes from the band’s brilliant seventh album All Hell which came out on Friday.

Post-news break, I resumed with the brilliant “Sweetie Pie” by Orchards. I am super excited to be catching Orchards at next week’s Truck Festival in Oxford. After “Sweetie Pie” by Orchards the second half of the show packed the punches with tracks from Exist Immortal, Giant Walker, ZacTheLocust, and our second unsigned the awesome “Pineapple Pizza (Ft. Wrapping up this week's show was the completely beautiful “Pool Day” by Only Twin. “Pool Day” comes from Only Twin’s new album It Feels Nice To Burn which dropped on Friday.
