Episode 58: Truck Festival Speical

Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was another banger of a show featuring brand new bangers from likes of iLos Campesions!, Balance and Composure, and The Meingues as well as unsigned spotlight tracks from Girl Like That and Rila’s Edge.

As it was Truck Festival this weekend the first hour of our show was filled with bangers from bands on the bill. I opened the show with “Passing Judgment” by Been Stellar. “Passing Judgement” comes from the band’s brilliant album Scream For New York NY. . Following “Passing Judgment” by Been Stellar, the first half of the show showcased tunes from Mouth Culture, Problem Patterns, The Menstrual Cramps, and our first unsigned spotlight track from an artist on this year’s bill at Truck Girl Like That with “Bad Boys In Bands”. Before the news break, I wrapped up our Truck Festival Spiecal with the brilliant “Robotswalkonwater (the floor is made of lava)” by ME REX.

Post-news break, I resumed with the brilliant “Home Among Your Bones” the brilliant new single from Soot Sprite. After “Home Among Your Bones” by Soot Sprite the second half of the show packed the punches with tracks from Comming Up Roses, Koanashi, The Meringues and our second unsigned the awesome “Deal “by Rila’s Edge. If you want to keep tabs on the band go follow them on their Instagram page @rilasedge.
