Episode 38

Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was another banger of a show featuring the likes of Greywind, Kite Thief and Night Thieves as well as unsigned spotlight tracks from Rogue Awakening and Spirits Of Saturn.

I opened the show with Proper.'s "Potential," a track from one of my favourite bands, who just announced their feature on the upcoming horror film soundtrack, "I SAW THE TV GLOW." Following "Potential," the first half of the show showcased tunes from Sweet Pill, ME REX, Hevy Violet, and our first unsigned spotlight track, "The Hunter," courtesy of rockers Rouge Awakening. Before the news break, I wrapped up the first half with PVRIS's latest hit, "Burn The Witch."

Post-news break, I resumed with "Hell Of A Day" by Gen-Z punks Noah and the Loners, celebrating the release of their debut EP, "A Desolate Warning," via Marshall Records. After "Hell Of A Day," the second half of the show packed punches with tracks from Sincere Engineer, Gen and the Degenerates, Neversaid, and our second unsigned spotlight track, "Transfigured," by Spirits Of Saturn, who are set to perform a free show at Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes in London on the 9th of this month. Wrapping up this week's show was the beautiful "Corduroy" by Memorial, marking the band's first new release since their self-titled debut album in 2022.
