Episode 4: 2000trees Special

Last night on The Scene with me, your host Thom with an H, we took our listeners on a wild and unforgettable ride with our 2000trees festival special. The evening kicked off with the thunderous metal sounds of Lake Malice's latest single, "Bloodbath," setting the stage for a night of headbanging and moshing. As the show continued, we experienced a diverse range of musical styles, from the riot girl punk of Lambrini Girls to the genre-bending brilliance of Big Special. The soothing melodies of Owen and Get Cape Wear Cape Fly provided a brief respite before we dove back into the energetic punk anthems of Bob Vylan and Sugar Horse. The atmosphere was electrifying as we embraced the high-energy performances of Casey, Heart Attack Man, and Hundred Reasons. Throughout the night, we celebrated the rich tapestry of music that 2000trees had to offer, culminating in a heartwarming ballad from Holding Absence and an eagerly anticipated performance by American Football, who left the crowd in awe. It was a special edition of The Scene, and I'm grateful to all who joined us on this remarkable journey through the sounds of 2000trees. Keep tuning in for more incredible episodes as we continue to explore the language of music on The Scene!
