Last night on The Scene with me, your host Thom with an H, it was a memorable and exhilarating musical experience! We embarked on a journey through an eclectic mix of tracks from both established and emerging artists. The show began with the mesmerising sounds of Pool Kids and their song "That's Physics Baby," setting the stage for an evening filled with musical wonders. As the night unfolded, we explored the realms of American emo with The Sonder Bombs and Proper, taking the audience on an emotional ride. Local talents like Loose Articles and Lambrini Girls showcased their punky vibes, and All Ears Avow's track "Hero" shone brightly as one of the featured local artists. The indie side of the spectrum revealed its charm with tracks from Palehound, Wallice, and Palace, each leaving a lasting impression. We also embraced post-punk greatness from Big Special, IDLES, and The Pleasure Dome, creating an electrifying atmosphere. The Scene on Castledown FM continued to deliver delightful surprises, captivating listeners with powerful songs from Vexed, Hail The Sun, and Filth is Eternal. To conclude the night, we celebrated the timeless melodies of Paramore, Camp Cope, and Sea Power, leaving the audience longing for more.
