Episode 7

Last night on The Scene with me, your host Thom with an H, we delved into a captivating array of music that had the airwaves pulsating with energy. Despite feeling a bit under the weather during the week, I was determined to deliver two hours of musical goodness to our listeners. The show began with the haunting melody of Palehound's "The Clutch," a track from their latest album, Eye On The Bat. Throughout the evening, we showcased a diverse lineup of indie and post-punk artists, including Toodles & The Hectic Pity, Lakes, SUDS, Big Special, Fauxes, A. Savage, and Beabadoobee, each leaving their distinct mark on the night. Lucky Number Seven, a local gem from Trowbridge, graced us with "Midnight Sweat," and we extended an invitation to aspiring writers to join The Scene family. As the show unfolded, we embraced the softer, introspective side of indie with tracks from Isadora Eden, Pool Kids, and Fiddlehead, resonating deeply with our listeners. The night crescendoed with the raw energy of Snooper's "Running" and a touch of witch rock from Squirrel Flower with "Full Time Job." The Scene, with its vibrant blend of genres, certainly proved once again that music's power is universal, uniting listeners with its language. Until next time, this is Thom with an H, bidding you farewell and looking forward to our next unforgettable episode on The Scene!
