Charming Liars drop new single "Where I End & You Begin" ahead of UK tour
Los Angeles-based rock sensation Charming Liars are back with a bang, dropping their electrifying new single "Where I End & You Begin" just in time for their highly anticipated return to the UK. The band is set to perform three headline shows in Glasgow, London, and Manchester, promising an unforgettable experience for fans across the country.
"Where I End & You Begin" kicks off with a captivating blend of semi-distorted vocals and a foot-stomping intro, setting the stage for a transformative musical journey. Produced by the band themselves and mixed by industry veterans Will Brierre and Reuben Cohen, the track boasts an energized melody and an unrelenting hook that showcases Charming Liars' signature sound.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Charming Liars explain:
“WHERE I END & YOU BEGIN' captures the essence of physical love inducing a state of disassociation. The lyrics delve into the feeling of drowning in an ocean of oneness, while the aggressive synth-heavy tones create a sonic landscape reminiscent of a growing storm." The band adds, "We're deeply connected to the sounds and vibes of the 80s, and this song reflects our exploration of different sonic landscapes during the creative process.”
As they gear up for their upcoming UK dates, Charming Liars expresses their excitement to return to the stage after nearly a year. "Performing in the UK always feels like coming home for us, despite being based in the US," they share. "We have fond memories of performing up and down the country in our early days, and we can't wait to create new memories in Glasgow, London, and Manchester. Our last headline show in London was a sold-out success, and we're eager to replicate that energy at Oslo on March 9th!"
