QUEEN LAYA announces self-titled Debut EP
Emerging artist QUEEN LAYA is set to defy expectations with her upcoming debut self-titled EP, scheduled for release on 17 May.

Accompanying the EP announcement, QUEEN LAYA treats fans to a taste of her evolving style with the release of “IMAGE & LIKENESS OF THE END.” This single delves into the artist's journey navigating social media pressures and the impact of disparaging tabloids on self-esteem.
In QUEEN LAYA's words:
“IMAGE & LIKENESS OF THE END is about my process with social media pressures and growing up with hateful tabloids breeding a lot of self loathe for many individuals. This song is a conversation between myself & those exact projections from the media. I set out to defy the low vibrational messages, and take on a path of discovery. In this world, having self respect & self worth is seen as a deadly sin and the end of the world. I'm battling between being confined in comfort, or breaking free & conquering the unimaginable.”
The EP announcement follows QUEEN LAYA's dynamic 2023, collaborating with co-writer and producer Harry Acreman, co-writer Jules Wildblood (Normandie), and mixing engineer Rhys May .
