SUDS share final single, “The Great Overgrowth”, ft Other Half’s Cal Hudson

Norwich-based SUDS have shared the third and final single from their much anticipated debut album, The Great Overgrowth, set for release on 3 November via Big Scary Monsters.

The titular track features Cal Hudson from Big Scary Monsters' Other Half and explains the concept behind The Great Overgrowth as blissful layers of dreamy guitars give way to walls of noise and sweet but sharp melodies when Maisie (vocals/guitar) and Jack (vocals/drums) state "I feel great today or was it yesterday? The flowers change, and they'll make you wait".

About the new track, “The Great Overgrowth”, the band says:

"The title track on the album is maybe the most different track on the whole record and was the last song we wrote. It's the most direct in terms of explaining the concept and what ‘The Great Overgrowth’ is.. It characterises nature and explains how being surrounded by it helps you overcome, process & deal with whatever feelings you are experiencing.

We also have the only feature on the album on this song; Cal Hudson from Big Scary Monsters' Other Half takes the second verse which gives even more of a change in sound."

This is one of our favourite tracks from the forthcoming album, and we’re stoked to see it featured as a single. Love to see friends supporting friends!
