2000trees Festival announce The Gaslight Anthem as first main stage headliners for 2024
2000trees Festival has announced the first main stage headliners for their 2024 event, and it's the incredible New Jersey-bred punks The Gaslight Anthem.
Known for their soulful breed of punk, The Gaslight Anthem have a rare gift for finding glory in the inescapable pain of being alive. Their sixth and forthcoming full-length album, 'History Books', is a testament to their ability to hit every raw nerve while endlessly inspiring wildly triumphant sing-alongs.
The Gaslight Anthem will headline Thursday 11th July and is a UK Festival Exclusive.
2000trees Festival booker, James Scarlett says of The Gaslight Anthem:
“We've tried to book The Gaslight Anthem pretty much every year for the last 10 years, so we're super stoked to have them joining us at Upcote Farm - we think they're a perfect 2000trees headliner. The '59 Sound in particular was a really important album to me so to finally have the band at 2000trees is going to be something special.”
2000trees Festival takes place on 10 through 13 July 2024 at Upcote Farm, near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Tickets for 2000trees Festival 2024 are on sale now, with 60% of all tickets already snapped up! The 4-Day & VIP tickets are already totally SOLD OUT.
Every year, the festival partners with some incredible charities, some of whom will have a presence on-site. For 2024, Tree Aid and Attitude Is Everything are back as official charity Partners.
Attitude is Everything's incredible work helps connect disabled people with music and live event industries to improve access together. Their vision is to see music and live event industries valuing disabled people as audience members, performers, professionals, and volunteers.
Talking about 2000Trees Attitude is Everything founder Suzanne Bull MBE said:
"2000Trees have worked with Attitude is Everything to improve their access over a number of years and I'm really pleased that they've chosen us to be their charity partner once again. Thanks also to 2000Trees guests and fans who will potentially donate to us in 2023. We couldn't continue our work without your generosity, so thanks so much."
2000trees Festival are also working with UK charity Ecolibrium to tackle the environmental impacts from our audience travel – these are typically the biggest contributor to an event's carbon footprint, making up to 80% for the average festival in the UK. When you buy a vehicle pass for 2000 Trees we'll donate £3 to Ecolibrium to help balance or 'offset' the carbon emissions from your fossil fuel miles.
Other charities being supported by 2000trees include: (Event Mobility, Extinction Rebellion, Greenpeace, Heads Above The Waves, Metal For Good, Metal For Nepal, Temwa, Safe Gigs For Women, The Woodland Trust, Young Gloucestershire, Frank Water, and The Sophie Lancaster Foundation).
