Kite Thief announce EP, release third single “Judge Judy & Executioner”

The Bristol-based alt-pop-metal Kite Thief have today announced their new EP Ambiviolent is coming this 15 December, and released the video for their latest single, “Judge Judy & Executioner”.

Fresh from blistering performances at 2000 Trees Festival, Wildfire Festival and Misery Loves Company Festival - sharing stages with the likes of RXPTRS, Of Virtue, and InMe - Kite Thief has left a sweet but gritty taste in every city they’ve called upon.

Joining the previously released "Goldsick" and "The Tide", this new track see’s Kite Thief continuing to dial things up, combing influences from a diverse range of genres from metal to hyperpop to create their loudest, and most punishing, track yet.

Elin says of “Judge Judy & Executioner”:

"This is probably my favourite song that we have ever written. It was the first song that we fully completed when we started writing again and during that time I was going through an awful breakup from a long-term relationship. I was confused, angry and bitter and this song encompasses all of that. But it has been a huge part of my healing process and has come full circle and now it is just the most fun, energetic and cathartic song to play live."

Ambiviolent promises to be a captivating blend of intoxicating melodies, pummelling rhythms, and unrelenting riffs. The band also recently announced an 8 date UK headline tour for 2024.
