Lake Malice release new single 'Mitsuko', announce debut EP!

It’s a big day for our friends Lake Malice, with the release of their new single “Mitsuko”, and the news we’ve all been waiting for, the announcement of their debut EP, Post-Genesis!

The new track will feature on their debut EP 'Post-Genesis', which the duo have announced will be released 27 October via SO Recordings (Enter Shikari / Placebo / Deaf Havana). We’re so excited to hear that in addition to a digital release, there will also be a limited edition 12" vinyl, which yes, we will be first in line for, thank you.

Of the new track, Alice Guala (vocals) and Blake Cornwall (guitar / production) say:

"Mitsuko is a deeply personal and intense torrent of 'full-on rage', dealing with the complexities of family values, and raw emotions of a fragmented childhood. The title takes inspiration from the original 'Battle Royale' manga, where the character Mitsuko shares a similar struggle of family heartbreak and abandonment."

Upcoming shows

Following extensive touring with the likes of As Everything Unfolds, Bloodywood, Skindred, Vukovi, Vended and Enter Shikari this year alone, Lake Malice are only now announcing their first ever headline shows across Europe, which will culminate in a date at The Black Heart in London on 6 December.

The band will also be supporting Skindred on select dates of their UK tour in October + are main support to Enter Shikari for their European tour in November.
