Saturdays at Your Place release new single "Pourover" and announce upcoming split EP

Michigan emo band Saturdays at Your Place (SAYP) are back with a new single, "Pourover," and the announcement of an upcoming split EP, That's What Friends Are For.

"Pourover" is a departure from the band's midwest emo core, with a more twangy and fluid sound. Featuring synths, vocal processors, and underlying acoustic guitars, the track was produced by Billy Mannino (Oso Oso, Macseal, Short Fictions).

The split EP, which also features fellow-artists and pals Summerbruise and Shoplifter, will be released on 17 November. SAYP provide three new tracks on the EP, which continue the band's stylistic departure from their emo roots.

SAYP have been quietly making a name for themselves in the current ecosystem of indie emo bands since dropping their debut EP in the winter of 2023. The band has been pushing themselves outside of their comfort zone, and their upcoming single and split EP are sure to turn heads.

Save the date for the split EP, That's What Friends Are For, coming 17 November via No Sleep Records.
