Let’s celebrate with a compilation CD for charity!
We’ve officially been doing this for one entire year. Holy cow.
If you haven’t heard the story before, we started this platform on a whim as a way to improve our skills for an entirely different project. We expected it to be another of our little hobbies, something we do on the side that almost no one sees.
And then, you all happened.
Within a month we had music, we had staff, we had opportunities. You all embraced us with the widest of open arms. When we embarked on this journey, our goal was to actively participate, and facilitate, the music we love. We aimed to use our knowledge and resources to make any kind of positive difference. The warmth and enthusiasm with which you have welcomed us exceeded our wildest expectations.
So to celebrate one whole year together, we’re staying true to our mission and releasing a limited edition compilation CD for charity, featuring just some of our absolute favs and the remarkable people that have been an integral part of our first year.
All proceeds from this project will be donated to two incredible charities: Youth Music and Music Venue Trust.
Every day of The Scene has been defined by the incredible individuals who have joined us along the way. Whether you’re creating with us, facilitating connections, or one of the many artists we’ve listened to, talked about, or talked to, we can only express our sincere gratitude.
We cannot thank you enough. And we cannot wait for another year of this. We’ve already got big plans, coming later this month.
