2000trees Festival announces brilliant 2025 lineup including FAVES like Alexisonfire, Coheed And Cambria, La Dispute, Lake Malice, Kaonashi, Love Rarely and many more
We are absolutely stoked by the announcement of the first wave of bands for the 2025 edition of the 2000trees Festival. With standout names like Alexisonfire, PVRIS, Coheed And Cambria, Taking Back Sunday, La Dispute, GEL, Lake Malice, Chastity, Kaonashi, Love Rarely, Thank, and Million Dead, this year’s lineup is shaping up to be an unforgettable one. The festival, held at Upcote Farm, Gloucestershire, from 9-12 July, promises a mix of iconic legends and emerging bands ready to leave a lasting impact.
This year’s headliners bring a diverse mix of heavy-hitters to the stage. On Saturday, Canadian post-hardcore legends Alexisonfire will close out the festival in what promises to be a powerful set, marking their highly anticipated 2000trees debut. Friday’s main stage will feature the double headline billing of Coheed And Cambria and Taking Back Sunday, offering a blend of progressive rock complexity and anthemic emo-rock energy. Meanwhile, Thursday’s lineup brings Massachusetts alt-rock powerhouse PVRIS to the main stage, as well as Kneecap.
While discussing their upcoming headlining set, George from Alexisonfire shared:
"Alexis is very excited to be playing 2000trees next year. Let it be known, by the time we are done playing there will be significantly less trees."
In addition to the headliners, the festival has a rich lineup of standout acts. La Dispute will bring their emotionally raw and lyrically intense post-hardcore sound to the stage, a set that promises to be a deeply engaging experience for fans. The hardcore energy continues with New Jersey’s GEL, who have been making waves with their aggressive, stripped-back approach to punk.
UK-based Lake Malice will also make their presence felt with their explosive blend of heavy riffs and dynamic vocals. Chastity, the Canadian project led by Brandon Williams, will be delivering a passionate and gritty take on alternative rock, balancing introspection and intensity. Kaonashi, known for their unique fusion of post-hardcore and chaotic storytelling, are set to bring a high-energy performance that’s sure to captivate the audience.
Love Rarely, an emerging name that has already started building a following with their emotionally charged sound, will be one of the fresh faces at 2000trees this year. Adding to the festival’s diversity, post-hardcore newcomers Thank are expected to deliver a thought-provoking and high-octane set. Fans will also be thrilled by the reunion of Million Dead, fronted by Frank Turner, marking an emotional and nostalgic moment for longtime fans of UK post-hardcore.
