BEX shares soundtrack to female empowerment “Taste Better”

BEX has unleashed her latest punk anthem with the release of “Taste Better”, a track that embodies female power and defiance.

Co-written and produced by WARGASM’s Sam Matlock, “Taste Better” is designed to resonate as a battlecry for any woman who has faced condescending behaviour. BEX's sharp lyrics make it clear: “There’s no problem with my attitude, the problem is you.”

Inspired by BLACKPINK and featuring one of BEX's catchiest riffs, the song came together in just one day.

BEX describes it as:

“About female power, fighting back against the patronizing men and condescending tones we know all too well. It’s a fierce track that emphasizes female empowerment and rejecting expectations. It marks a moment where I accepted and understood my own power.”

A creative force to be reckoned with, BEX has been making waves with performances alongside bands like Mannequin Death Squad and SNAYX, as well as a standout set on the main stage of 2000trees Festival. On November 1st, she will headline her first show at Omeara in London.

BEX has also released “sunDae” and “Fight” this year, earning airplay on BBC Radio 1 and Kerrang! Radio. Her explosive debut EP ‘SCUM’, released via Scruff of the Neck Records in late 2023, quickly garnered attention, with BEX featured as “Next Wave” on BBC Radio 1’s Future Artists with Jack Saunders.

Beyond music, BEX’s creativity shines in her visual and wearable art. She designs and stitches unique merch, directs her own music videos, and transforms stages with her distinctive aesthetic, making every performance an immersive experience.
