Drug Church announce new album ‘Prude’

Drug Church, the outspoken punk outfit hailing from Albany, NY, is gearing up for the release of their latest album, PRUDE, set to hit shelves on 4 October, courtesy of Pure Noise Records.

Known for their unapologetic blend of hardcore aggression and '90s alternative influences, Drug Church has built a reputation over the past decade as one of punk's most distinctive and compelling acts.

PRUDE marks the band's fifth full-length album and promises a concise yet potent 28-minute sonic assault. Featuring their trademark blend of irreverence, heart, and infectious melodies, the album showcases Drug Church at their peak, reaffirming their status as a formidable force in the punk rock scene.

To kick off the album's announcement, Drug Church has released the lead single, "Demolition Man," accompanied by a music video starring Biff Wiff, known for his roles in popular shows and films. The track combines furious hooks with frontman Patrick Kindlon's biting lyricism, exploring themes of existential angst and the simplicity of animal instincts compared to human complexities.

Recorded and produced by longtime collaborator Jon Markson, PRUDE follows the critically acclaimed Hygiene (2022). The album continues Drug Church's tradition of pushing boundaries while staying true to their roots, delivering an album that exceeds expectations with its raw energy and introspective depth.
