False Reality drop new single “Opposites React (Ft. Speed)”

London-based hardcore band False Reality has unleashed their latest single "Opposites React," featuring a collaboration with Australian hardcore sensation Speed.

Formed in 2023, False Reality comprises individuals deeply entrenched in the underground music scene. Their sound, characterized by a blend of thrash-infused hardcore crossover, draws inspiration from bands like Trapped Under Ice, Broken Teeth, Backtrack, and even early Sepultura and Deftones.

Produced by Steve Sears Jr (known for his work with Gallows, TRC, Prowler, and Conjurer), their forthcoming EP promises to be both blistering and poetically cathartic. "Opposites React," the EP's first single, is a groove-driven, empowering anthem featuring vocals from Rachel Rigby of Speed.

Rigby shares her excitement about the song:

“I feel excited to release this song and to have been able to share it with my friends in Speed. This song is about feeling trapped in a box for so long to then finding your voice and feeling like you have a say for the first time. I'm happy with how the catchy hook and riffs allow the song to come from a place of power, not doom and gloom.”

False Reality has already made a mark in the UK heavy music scene, sharing stages with Speed, Jesus Piece, Madball, Buried Alive, and Static Dress. Garnering support both locally and nationally, False Reality continues to solidify their position as one of the most compelling acts in the genre.
