Waxahatchee shares latest single “365”

Waxahatchee shares her latest single, “365,” from the forthcoming album Tigers Blood, slated for release on 22 March, via ANTI- Records.

The track, featuring an extraordinary vocal performance, is accompanied by a stunning one-shot music video directed by Corbett Jones & Nick Simonite, frequent collaborators with the artist.

Talking about the track and video Katie Crutchfield aka Waxahatchee said:

"'365' is a song about codependency as it pertains to addiction and relationships with addicts. It's something I've dealt with a lot in my life and I really wanted to distill the nerves and emotions down to their purest form in this song," explains. "Brad Cook and I had a lot of ideas we tried for this one, but in the end, we tracked it live just him, Jake Lenderman and myself running the song a couple of times together in the room."

Accompanying the release, Waxahatchee will embark on a tour across North America, Europe, and the UK this spring and summer in support of Tigers Blood. Additionally, she has announced Tigers Blood listening parties, commencing on 21 March at independent record stores globally.

Tigers Blood sees Crutchfield collaborating with new artists, including MJ Lenderman, Spencer Tweedy, and Phil Cook, alongside trusted producer Brad Cook, with whom she worked on the critically acclaimed album Saint Cloud.

Most of the songs on Tigers Blood were penned during a prolific period on tour in 2022. For recording, Crutchfield reunited with producer Brad Cook and returned to the Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas, a place that played a pivotal role in shaping her sound on Saint Cloud.
