Destroy Boys release new single 'Plucked'

Sacramento punks Destroy Boys have shared their latest track, "Plucked," via Hopeless Records produced by Carlos De La Garza (Paramore, The Linda Linda's, Best Coast, etc).

"Plucked" presents a vibrant blend of shimmering pop-rock with hints of post-punk influences. The song has earned a spot on the newly launched Spotify Marrow playlist, which highlights the DSP's 2024 Artists To Watch class.

Their previous single, "Shadow (I'm Breaking Down)," recently soared to #30 on the Alternative Radio Chart in the US, marking their first Top 30 hit on the chart

Reflecting on "Plucked," the band shares:

“Plucked is an entry to a new era. It's focused on freedom of expression & learning how to embrace your quirks. It's ultimately just a little pop-rock banger. It's super fun to play – we're excited to play it live in future shows”

The band's schedule is packed with upcoming performances, kicking off this weekend with their 3rd annual Destroyfest at The Bellwether in LA—a festival curated by the band each year to unite friends and fans in celebration of music and the scene. This year's lineup features Destroy Boys, Illuminati Hotties, Kumo 99, NIIS, Ultra-Q, Jigsaw Youth, Chokecherry & J-Mont.

In May, they'll embark on select headline dates across the US before joining Mother Mother and Cavetown for a massive North American summer tour. The band will wrap up the summer season with appearances at European festivals, including Reading & Leeds festivals in the UK.
