Fightmilk unleash fiery new Single "That Thing You Did"

London-based DIY indie-punk quartet Fightmilk have shared their newest single, "That Thing You Did". The single is a preview of their upcoming third album, No Souvenirs, set for release on 15 November via Fika Recordings and INH Records.

"That Thing You Did" is a punchy anthem of revenge and regret. The track, sees the band channel their frustration with a relationship gone sour into a riff-heavy, cathartic release.

Vocalist Lily Rae shares how the song’s title started as a joke during one of the band’s discussions about cover versions:

““That Thing You Did” came from the title of That Thing You Do. I liked how putting it in the past tense made it sound so much more ominous and vengeful.”

As the band worked on the song, the true meaning began to take shape—exploring the emotions of trying to move on when the emotional baggage won’t leave.

Fightmilk’s new album No Souvenirs, blends the band’s trademark biting wit with catchy pop hooks and heavy guitar riffs, showing off a more collaborative and spontaneous approach to their songwriting.

To celebrate the release of No Souvenirs, Fightmilk will headline Paper Dress Vintage in London on November 15th, followed by a tour across the UK. With a growing fanbase, Fightmilk’s infectious energy is impossible to ignore.
