FORLORN share new single “Creatress” - A celebration of earth and feminine power

FORLORN, the UK-based Folk Horror ensemble, emerges from the shadows with their latest single, "Creatress," available now on all major platforms.

This hauntingly powerful track marks a significant shift for the band as they explore themes of Earth and feminine empowerment, forging a bold new path following the conclusion of their acclaimed Sæl cycle in 2023.

"Creatress" is a sonic tapestry that weaves together elements of symphonic black metal, resonating low guitars, pulsating groove, and ethereal soundscapes. Drawing inspiration from the Norse deity Moder, the song delves into humanity's connection with Mother Earth and celebrates the resilience and significance of women in contemporary society.

Vocalist Megan Elliott shares insights into the song's profound message, stating:

“'Creatress' signifies the dawn of a new era for FORLORN, one characterized by experimentation and raw emotion. This track not only advocates for environmental stewardship but also calls for greater recognition of women within the music industry.”

The genre-pushing outfit eagerly anticipates a new year of entrancing live rites across the country and uninitiated territories. FORLORN will embark on four special festival dates following the release of "Creatress".
