Lake Malice drop-banging Bobby Wolfgang remix of “Blossom”

One of our absolute faves Brighton-based alt-metal duo Lake Malice are shaking up the scene once again with the release of Bobby Wolfgan’s remix of their single “Blossom”.

Known for their hyper-pop-influenced sound, Lake Malice has teamed up with Bobby Wolfgang to deliver an eclectic drum and bass reimagining of their very first release.

Injecting their signature influences of punk, hardcore, and jungle into the mix, Bobby Wolfgang has created a fresh new spin on the fan favourite track.

Alice Guala and Blake Cornwall of Lake Malice express their excitement about the collaboration, sharing:

"We've always wanted to work with Bobby - they put so much attention to detail into their production. When we got the first mix, we knew we needed it in our live set so we've been playing it throughout our UK headlines this month to give fans an early teaser."

“Blossom” originally appeared on Lake Malice's debut EP, Post-Genesis, released last year via SO Recordings. The remix adds a dynamic layer to the duo's discography, showcasing their versatility and willingness to explore new sonic territories.

In addition to the remix release, Lake Malice also announced an exciting tour with Germany's Blackout Problems across the UK and Europe in October and November. This follows their successful inaugural headline tour in the UK and numerous festival performances throughout 2023, including notable appearances at The Great Escape, Download, Misery Loves Company, and 2000trees.
