Lake Malice release Toronto Is Broken remix of “Stop The Party”
One of our faves Lake Malice, are back at it again, adding a new dimension to their hit single "Stop The Party" with a dynamic remix crafted by renowned DJ and producer Toronto Is Broken.
Transforming the track into a drum and bass anthem, this remix escalates the original's dynamic blend of metalcore, alt-pop, and EDM into a futuristic soundscape reminiscent of a Matrix movie scene.
Alice Guala and Blake Cornwall of Lake Malice shared their enthusiasm for the remix, noting:
"Stop The Party was a pivotal track for us, one where we really started to define our unique sound that straddles several genres. Toronto Is Broken has taken this foundation and elevated it, creating a drum and bass crossover that’s both groundbreaking and intensely evocative."
This latest release follows the band's recent success with the 'Blossom' (Bobby Wolfgang Remix), another drum and bass reworking that brought a new edge to their debut song, adding layers of punk, hardcore, and jungle influences.
In addition to their exciting ventures into the remix realm, Lake Malice has announced an upcoming tour with Blackout Problems. Set to travel across the UK and Europe in October and November, this tour builds on a year of significant milestones for the band, including their first UK headline tour and appearances alongside notable acts like Skindred and Enter Shikari at major festivals such as Download and 2000trees.
Fans can catch the new remix on streaming platforms and view its accompanying visualizer online. Moreover, those eager to experience Lake Malice live can find tour tickets and more information about their upcoming performances on their official website.
