ArcTanGent announces massive line for this year’s 10th anniversary festival

ArcTanGent Festival, known for its innovative and diverse lineups, is gearing up for a monumental 10th-year celebration from August 14th to 17th, 2024. Last year’s festival was a standout, and anticipation for this year was already high with favourites like Filth is Eternal on the bill. However, today’s announcement of Caspian, Mogwai, and Explosions in the Sky has taken the excitement to a new level.

Caspian holds a special place in our hearts as one of our all-time favourite bands. The news of their inclusion in the ATG lineup is a dream come true, and we never thought we'd have the chance to see them live. Catching them at ATG is the best news we've heard all year, and we're already preparing to be at the front of the stage with tears rolling down our eyes.

As well as Caspian, Mogwai, and Explosions in the Sky today’s announcement includes Clown Core, Electric Wizard, Amenra, Julie Christmas, Bo Ningen, Ihsahn, Delta Sleep, Show Me The Body, Sigh, Author & Punisher, Year of no Light, Slift, Brontide, Earthtone9, Anta, Ànteros, Asymmetric Universe, AVKRVST, Bipolar Architecture, Briqueville, Codex Serafini, Doodsekader, Earthside, Fange, Hundred Year Old Man, Glassing, Iskandr, John Cxnnor, Kalandra, Kaonashi, Kulk, Love Sex Machine, Madmess, Maebe, Nadir, Oddism, Outrun The Sunlight, Pleiades, Quade, Sang Froid, Skemer, Sum Of R, The Psychotic Monks, The Sun's Journey Through The Night, Underdark, Vower, WuW, Wyatt E., Yomi Ship, Zetra.

James Scarlett, ArcTanGent Festival organizer, expresses his excitement:

“As we're celebrating 10 years of ArcTanGent, we made a list of the bands that have never played that we've always wanted to make it more special than ever, and naturally Mogwai was top of that list. We're over the moon to also be bringing the likes of Electric Wizard and Clown Core to their first-ever ATG. We weren't lying when we said our 10th year is going to be the biggest ATG ever - it's going to be biblical!”

Brontide are reforming for the festival to play their album Artery in full.

Brontide reflected on returning to the festival after playing the very first ATG:

“After playing the first ever ATG back in 2013, we knew that one day we'd love to come back."says Brontide. "2024 not only marks the festivals 10th year, but our 2nd album, Artery's 10 year Anniversary. The timing couldn't be more perfect and we're so happy to have this moment to open up a new chapter for Brontide.”

This impressive lineup adds to the already announced Meshuggah, Animals As Leaders (as an EU exclusive), Plini, Red Fang, And So I Watch You From Afar, Filth is Eternal, and the farewell show from the much-loved Three Trapped Tigers.
