The Guru Guru share ‘Make (Less) Babies’ album behind-the-scenes video

Belgian art-rock sensation, The Guru Guru, take fans behind the curtain with a captivating behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of their latest album, Make (Less) Babies. The band has just released an exclusive video showcasing the studio sessions, offering an intimate look at their creative process.

As they embark on their eagerly anticipated Make (Less) Babies 2024 Headline Tour across Europe, The Guru Guru is set to treat audiences to an electrifying live experience. Kicking off the tour in the Netherlands, they will make a special stop in the UK with a headline performance at The Shacklewell Arms in London on February 24th. Tickets for this highly anticipated event are available now.

Make (Less) Babies, released via Hummus Records and A Tant Rêver Du Roi Records, is already making waves. Recorded at Farrm Studio in Hasselt, Belgium, with assistance from Jasper Vanden Bossche, the album captures the band's signature sound in its purest form. Guitarist Emiel Van Den Abbeele handled the mixing, while Laurens Grossen Mastering mastered the album to perfection.

Since the release of early singles like “Lotta Tension,” “Saint-Tropez,” and “Make Less Babies” in 2023, the album has garnered significant attention from music aficionados and critics alike. The Guru Guru's distinct blend of feverishly angular guitars, off-kilter poly-rhythms, and Adriaenssens' trademark erratic vocals sets them apart in the art-rock scene. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of influences including Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead, and The Mars Volta, the band's music defies categorization, resulting in a truly unique sonic experience.

Having graced the stages of renowned festivals such as PORTALS, Burn It Down, and ArcTanGent, The Guru Guru has solidified their status as a force to be reckoned with in the live music circuit. Their dynamic performances have captivated audiences across Europe, earning them a dedicated following.
