Higher Power sign to Nuclear Blast Records

Nuclear Blast Records have added Leeds-based band Higher Power to their esteemed roster. Hailing from the dynamic UK hardcore scene, Higher Power has made a name for themselves by skillfully blending elements of shoegaze, grunge, punk, and thrash into their music, resulting in a refreshingly unique sound in today's heavy music landscape.

To mark this significant milestone, Higher Power has released a captivating new single titled “Absolute Bloom”, accompanied by a brilliantly tongue-in-cheek music video. The track, an infectious and hook-laden anthem, showcases the band's deep-rooted influences from 90s alternative music, promising an exciting direction for their future endeavours.

In a statement about “Absolute Bloom”, vocalist Jimmy Wizard shares:

“I'm super excited to release this song. It's really personal to me in this transitional period of my life, about wanting a deeper more meaningful connection to the real world and not quite being equipped to do so, but finding hope and figuring it out. The music reflects that with a song that's so big and upbeat..”

Additionally, fans across the United States will have the opportunity to catch Higher Power live on tour, as they support Neck Deep on select dates. Be sure to mark your calendars and witness “Absolute Bloom” come to life on stage. Furthermore, the band is set to make appearances at Northern Unfest and Outbreak Festival later this year, promising even more electrifying performances.
