Mimi Barks announces debut album 'THIS IS DOOM TRAP'

Doom Trap sensation Mimi Barks has set the stage on fire with the announcement of her highly anticipated debut album, THIS IS DOOM TRAP, slated for release on 26 September via Silent Cult.

Following up on the success of her performances at festivals like Download, 2000 Trees, and Graspop, Mimi Barks is ready to unleash her dark and electrifying sound to the world.

With producer credits from industry heavyweights like MorgothBeatz, Brian Spencer, and Kenny Graves, THIS IS DOOM TRAP promises to be a visceral experience that pushes boundaries and defies expectations.

In a statement about her upcoming album, Mimi Barks delves into the depths of her artistry, describing it as a sonic journey through her body pain, offering listeners a guide on navigating through it.

With Mimi saying:

“The Awakening or the pain-body? 'THIS IS DOOM TRAP'. Welcome to a sonic journey through my pain-body and a guide on how to deal with it," explains Mimi Barks as she refers to her upcoming album. "The only way out is through. But everything is Rhythm and you'll find yourself where you began eventually, on a slightly higher plane with new but similar challenges”

To give fans a taste of what's to come, Mimi Barks has dropped her latest single, 'FSU' (short for F**k Shit Up), alongside an enthralling music video. Exploring themes of growth, transformation, and the chaos of life's journey, 'FSU' showcases Mimi Barks' signature style and uncompromising attitude.

But the excitement doesn't stop there! Mimi Barks will be hitting the road for a tour across the UK and Europe this March, joining forces with Brighton's own Yonaka.
