Lake Malice release amazing new single “Eternal December”

One of our absolute favourite bands Lake Malice, have released their latest single, “Eternal December,” a poignant exploration of homesickness and seasonal depression.

Vocalist Alice Guala's personal experiences of relocation and the emotional struggle that ensues serve as the inspiration for this heartfelt track. With its seamless fusion of EDM, hyperpop, and metalcore elements, “Eternal December” promises a rich, multilayered listening experience.

Guala and guitarist/co-instigator Blake Cornwall say:

“We wrote this song in the wintery months when the rain never stopped and we barely saw the sun. It feels like something everyone can relate to on some level. Our aim has always been to avoid limitations on where we take our music and we're extremely proud of this multilayered composition which incorporates elements of EDM, hyperpop and metalcore”

In conjunction with the release of “Eternal December,” Lake Malice has also announced the lineup of support acts for their highly anticipated UK headline tour. Set to kick off in March, the tour will feature buzzing London-based metal act TheCityIsOurs, electro-infused Leeds band Artio, and Herts power trio High Regard. These exciting additions promise to complement Lake Malice's unique sound and elevate the live experience for fans across the country.

Building on the momentum of their electrifying performances throughout Europe in 2023, including notable appearances at festivals like The Great Escape and Download, Lake Malice continues to captivate audiences with their raw energy and evocative storytelling. Their recently released debut EP, Post-Genesis, has garnered widespread acclaim, addressing themes ranging from social anxiety to abuse of power with unflinching honesty.
