Chastity, the brainchild of Brandon Williams, has announced the release of their self-titled album slated for September 13th, 2024 via Deathwish Inc (US), Dine Alone Records (Canada), and Big Scary Monsters (UK/EU).
This 13-track opus delves into themes of struggle, despair, and redemption, reflecting Williams' personal journey and growth. "Chastity" marks a departure from the band's previous conceptual albums, offering a raw, non-fiction narrative that resonates with intensity and authenticity.
The album's announcement is accompanied by the release of its lead single, "Jaw Locked," a sonic powerhouse driven by pounding guitars and Williams' impassioned vocals. The track encapsulates feelings of voiceless loneliness and defiance, inviting listeners to join in cathartic solidarity.

Produced and mixed by John Paul Peters (Propagandhi, Comeback Kid) at Private Ear Recording in Winnipeg, "Chastity" explores a sonic landscape blending melodic hardcore, shoegaze, and emo influences. The album showcases Chastity's most immediate and towering guitar work yet, complemented by ferocious basslines and dynamic drumming that push the boundaries of sound and texture.

Chastity's journey began in Whitby, Ontario, where Williams and friends pioneered independent punk shows in a local barn, creating a haven for the underground music scene. Over the years, Chastity has toured extensively across North America, sharing stages with icons like Sunny Day Real Estate, Alexisonfire, and Deafheaven.
