Loose Articles announce debut album ‘Scream If You Wanna Go Faster’

Manchester-based punk rockers Loose Articles have set the stage for their highly anticipated debut album, titled Scream If You Wanna Go Faster, slated for release on 7 June through Alcopop! Records.

The quartet has also shared the album's lead single, "Mr. Manager," which hit all major digital service providers today.

In anticipation of the album's release, the band shares insights into their latest track, stating:

"Mr. Manager is a song about being stuck in the daily grind of a managerial nightmare. A job is a job until it becomes an occupational hazard!"

Adding to the excitement, Loose Articles have an eventful summer ahead, including a significant support slot with Foo Fighters, a newly announced May tour supporting The Lovely Eggs, and co-headline UK tour dates with label mates CHROMA. They're also set to appear at various festivals such as Hit The South, Right To Roam Festival, Rebellion, Green Man, Edinburgh Psych Fest, and more, with additional dates yet to be announced.

Scream If You Wanna Go Faster promises to be a rollercoaster ride of emotions, covering everything from the highs of pinball championships to the lows of dealing with mundane jobs and managers. Despite juggling gigging every weekend with their day jobs, the band managed to write and record the album, infusing it with energy and fast-paced rhythms reminiscent of their live performances.

Recorded, mixed, and co-produced in the north with Ian Stewart at Blueprint Studios, the album was mastered by Katie Tavini. The recording sessions were characterized by laughter, synchronized dancing, and occasional pub visits, creating an electrifying atmosphere. The album will be available on limited edition leopard print effect vinyl and four different football-themed CDs, each representing a different band member.

Loose Articles invites fans to join them on this thrilling journey by grabbing their fast passes and lining up for the ride of their lives. Stay tuned for further announcements on new music and live dates in the coming months.
