The Linda Lindas announce new album ‘No Obligation’

Los Angeles-based punk rock quartet The Linda Lindas have shared details of their upcoming album, No Obligation, scheduled for release on 11 October via Epitaph Records.

The announcement coincides with the release of their new single "All In My Head" and an accompanying psychedelic music video directed by James Wyatt, offering a visually mesmerizing experience.

Lead vocalist Lucia de la Garza describes "All In My Head" as their most indie-leaning track yet, inspired by the character from the book My Year of Rest And Relaxation. The song marks a departure into new lyrical territory for the band, exploring themes of escapism and reality.

No Obligation is the band's second full-length album, showcasing their unique blend of L.A. punk with elements of post-punk, garage rock, power pop, new wave, and rock en español. Recorded during breaks from school and tours over the past two years, the album reflects their growth as musicians and their commitment to defying expectations in the music industry.

The Linda Lindas recently opened for The Rolling Stones at So-Fi Stadium and will join Green Day on The Saviors Tour alongside Rancid and The Smashing Pumpkins starting 29/07 in Washington, DC. The tour spans major cities across the United States, including stops in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and more.
