Wisp announces debut EP ‘Pandora’

Enigmatic shoegaze artist Wisp has announced her debut EP Pandora on Interscope Records, set to drop on 5 April.

Alongside this exciting news, Wisp releases her latest single "Enough for you", offering listeners another taste of her mesmerizing sound.

Following the success of her breakout single "Your Face" last summer, which garnered millions of streams and a devoted following, Wisp continues to captivate audiences with her atmospheric melodies and introspective lyrics. Tracks like "Once then we'll be free" and "See You Soon" have solidified her position as a rising star in the music scene.

“Enough for you" delves into themes of insecurity and self-doubt, with Wisp exploring the internal struggle of feeling undeserving of others' affection. The song showcases her knack for crafting lush, intricate compositions that defy genre conventions.

Of the track, Wisp says:

"Enough for you is about feeling undeserving for others because of how you perceive yourself due to insecurity and shame. The lyrics are from the perspective of a person who has contradicted themselves into believing the negative perception of their own is how everyone else views them as well."

Drawing inspiration from artists like Whirr and Deftones, Wisp's music pushes the boundaries of rock, offering a fresh take on the shoegaze genre. With accolades from publications like Pigeons & Planes and Notion, Wisp is poised to become a defining voice for Gen-Z listeners.

In addition to her EP release, Wisp will embark on a US tour with headline and support dates featuring Panchiko. Don't miss the opportunity to experience Wisp's ethereal sound live in concert.
